Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is located in Murdoch, 15 kilometres south of the Perth CBD and nine kilometres east of Fremantle.
Our 783-bed, $2 billion public hospital will rank among the best in Australia and will include the 140-bed State rehabilitation service, a 30-bed purpose-built mental health unit and the State burns service.
Fiona Stanley Hospital will be the major tertiary hospital in the south metropolitan area and will meet the growing needs of communities south of Perth and across the State.
As well as delivering comprehensive clinical services, we will be a leader in research and education. In addition, we will have the most advanced medical equipment and state-of-the-art information and communications technology.
Fiona Stanley Hospital has been designed to have a healing and therapeutic effect on patients and 83 per cent of patient rooms are single occupancy, offering increased comfort and privacy.
