Roses Are One Of the Worlds Most Popular Flowers To Send

Since early times,. the Rose has evolved to become the most cherished and cultivated flowers on the planet. The Rose has a special place in most peoples hearts and is considered to be the worlds favourite flower, with billions sold around the world annually.

Roses are versatile for florists as they come in so many different varieties, colours and sizes. Roses are graded according to the length of the stem, and when grown commercially in Australia are grown in glass hot houses.

The rose flower if looked after correctly along the production process are long lasting and just look great in any arrangement. If you are lucky enough to receive roses, cut off at least 2.5 centimetres off the stem with a sharp knife or seceuters at an angle and remove the lower foliage that may end up sitting in water in the vase you place them in. Changing the water every day or every second day will help to lengthen the life of the flowers.
