Some of the flowers known as Singapore Orchids belong to the Dendrobium family. The Oncidium family is also popular for cut flowers and the yellow 'Golden Shower' variety is widely known and used. Like all flowers, cut at least 2-4 centimeters of at an angle and place them in water, like many flowers the stems should never be allowed to dry out hence why they are transported in water. If an Orchid becomes limp, you can submerge the whole flower in water for 30-60 minutes and this will plump the flower and stem back up.
