Some information about Anthurium Flowers - St Anne's Florist & Gift Baskets have Anthurium Flowers In Stock Available for Perth Delivery

Anthuriums are an exotic long lasting heart shape flower originating from the Columbian rainforests, and are now cultivated in almost all flower growing regions around the world.
St Anne's Florist and Gift Baskets source Anthurium Flowers locally and also from Singapore weekly.

Anthurium flowers consist of a shiny waxed bract called a spathe with a central protruding cylindrical spadix. The name Anthurium comes from the Greek - anthos means flower and oura means tail which refers to the spadix. Both the spathes and spadices grow in many different colours and shadings.

Anthurium cut flowers should last anything from ten days to three weeks in the correct conditions, like all tropical flowers anthuriums like a high level of humidity and don't like dry airconditioned environments and should be kept in constant conditions out of draughts.
As they do not take up much water when they are cut the flowers benefit from frequent light mistings with water to increase their humidity levels.
