Kokedama Perth | Kokedamas Perth | Moss Balls Perth

Kokedama (in English, literally "moss ball") is a ball of soil, covered with moss, on which an ornamental plant grows. The idea has its origins in Japan where Kokedama are very popular.

Kokedama is also called poor man's bonsai. It's traditionally in Japan made of wet Akadama soil and Keto (peat) formed to a ball. The plant is set into the ball and afterwards the moss is wrapped around. We have a modern variant of this traditional style.

Kokedama must be watered regularly, we recommend soaking our Kokodama for 5-10 minutes once/twice a week depednig on where your Kokoedama lives (remember they love light but our kokedama's with ferns and ones that are moss covered can't be put in direct light)

We have a huge range of Kokedama in our Perth shop at 111 Newcastle Street, Perth WA 6000. You can come into our shop, order online at www.stannesflorist.com.au or call us on 08 9388 884
